Here is a Small Amazon PPC Hack!
Amazon Auto Campaigns has four targeting groups.
- Close match
- Loose match
- Complements
- Substitutes
Now in the Ad console, Amazon doesn’t tell you which Search Terms came from which targeting, and you won’t get that data from the Search Term report either.
So for an Auto campaign where the Ad groups aren’t segmented by the Targeting type, you won’t know the Targeting that triggered the Search Term.
But there is a hidden place where you can get the data from!
Click into the Search Terms tab within the Ad Group and click Export to download the Excel file.
You are now able to see which Targeting triggered each Search Term.
